Working in Our Personality Groups

Working with my personality group INFP was a lot of fun. We worked pretty smoothly together by throwing out ideas and running with them. When we first started working on the poster board we weren't sure what exactly an INFP was, so I went to the library and printed off some information and from there putting the board together went pretty smoothly. Each on of us had our hands on the board, we drew, wrote, glued and taped thing onto the board. I think when we were finished it looked really good!

Critiquing our writings were pretty well also. We listened to one another, wrote some grammar corrections and read through our papers pretty quickly. While reading I know I would go off the page meaning I would say what I'm was talking about instead of reading exactly what was on the page.

All in all last week was interesting and fun.

  1. Going to the library to do research is such an INFP behavior, especially the P part. People who identify with Perception like to observe and gather information to help make decisions. And your experience with sharing your ideas rather than what was exactly on the page is the main reason writers should read their work aloud, even to ourselves. It forces the brain to slow down and really see what's on the page. If we read silently, the brain often fills in gaps for us and we don't "see" them.
